Paolo Campos, AIA, NOMA is an Associate Principal with Patriquin Architects in New Haven, CT, where he actively manages project design, technology integration, and business development. His professional career has spanned twenty years in primary and higher education, multifamily housing, master planning, and commercial work. As a member of Patriquin Architects, his projects have earned recognition for design excellence, for sustainability, and for exemplary team collaboration with a focus on work across the State of Connecticut. Campos volunteers extensively at AIA Connecticut, where he has co-chaired the Building Performance and Regulations Committee, the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and currently serves on the Executive Board as the Treasurer. He was one of the five founding architects of NOMAct, which was chartered in 2021, and where her currently leads as President. His advocacy in the design and construction industry is focused on highlighting the voices and talents of minorities, celebrating their personal and professional successes, and finding opportunities for leadership and mentoring.
Aurora Perreault

Aurora Perreault is a senior architectural design student at the University of Hartford pursing an Accelerated Master of Architecture with a concentration in Construction Management. Her professional career recently started as a summer intern at Patriquin Architects. During this time, she learned about project documentation and visualization as well as working collaboratively with other to professionals and clients. Perreault is currently the President of the University of Hartford’s NOMAS chapter. As President, she has led multiple events to develop student’s professional skills and prepare students to join the architecture profession. One such event was the first architecture career week which provided students with the tools to create professional materials such as their resume and portfolio as well as experience in an interview setting. Perreault has advocated for increased understanding of minority issues and discussing design practices which work to limit or improve these issues within our design.
Alicia Washington
Principal, Director of Marketing and JEDI

Alicia Washington has 18 years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry. She is a Principal of HRP Associates, Inc., and serves as the Director of Marketing and JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion). Her responsibilities include oversight of corporate and client sector branding, proposal development, marketing communications, research and business opportunities, and management of marketing staff. As JEDI Director, she is responsible for developing, promoting, supporting, and engaging diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and leading community and industry outreach and recruitment efforts. Washington is the Immediate Past President for the Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and leads their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion taskforce, a Board of Advisor for the Connecticut Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects and a Board Member for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Connecticut Chapter. She also serves her local community as Chairwoman for the City Diversity Council and is a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club.
